Persistent Overcab Window Leak Fixed Properly – Full Repair with Bodywork Refresh (Worcester)

A recent motorhome repair we carried out at our Worcester workshop involved a serious overcab window leak that had already been unsuccessfully “repaired” by three different service centres. The customers were understandably frustrated – despite multiple attempts, water was still making its way into the vehicle.

Upon inspection, we quickly discovered why none of the previous fixes had worked. Each time, someone had tried sealing the window without actually removing it, which was never going to be a lasting solution. In fact, by the time the motorhome reached us, the window had completely detached from its original position and was held in place only by sticky tape.

We fully removed the window and professionally prepared both the frame and mounting surface for reinstallation. Using specialist cleaning agents and high-quality bonding materials, we reinstalled the window securely and applied a durable, watertight seal to eliminate any future leaks.

As part of the job, some bodywork was required around the cab area due to previous water damage and poor repair attempts. We also took the opportunity to restore the overcab section, as the original finish had lost its gloss over time. Now, not only is the leak fully repaired, but the cab also looks as good as new – clean, polished, and weatherproof.
